Powers: Using music and sound to boost stats and deliver powerful sonic attacks. Cruise knows the perfect song to play for any situation, his thousands of hours spent cruising the internet for unknown bands lending to his superior song selection (surprising, as he makes such a "meh" DJ).

GEAR/ARMOR: Cruise contains constant music flow via headphones or built in speakers located in his backpack and gloves. When concentrated, the bitter, hateful sounds can empower Cruise, giving him increased speed and strength. He is also able to physically condense the sound waves into Orbs using his speaker gloves, which upon impact, smash his opponents square in the mouth, sending them reeling.

Fun Fact: Cruise's real name is Hadrian.

Cruise and Ramona met during their freshman year in college. During those fragile first few weeks away from home, they became inseparable. After a semester or two though, like most first year acquaintances, they realized they had literally nothing in common. The relationship remained stable till Ramona met Roxy. She left Cruise shortly after that.

Crushed, Cruise careened into an emotional psychosis. He stayed up night after night, trying to find the perfect song to fuel his anger, or say what he needed to win Ramona back. THAT song never came, but what Cruise discovered was the other powers the songs granted him.

Cruise seethed for 5 long years, doing nothing with a useless Bachelors Degree, DJ'ing at night to pay the bills. One night, during another mediocre set, he was approached by a well-dressed dickhat by the name of Gideon Graves. He told Cruise that he was forming a team of Exs to crush Ramona Flowers and her current boyfriend. Cruise, feeling the familiar rush of jealousy and anger, casually brushed it aside. Leaving a card as he left, Gideon flicked the hair from his eyes, turning as he said, "Roxy already said yes..." Cruise jammed the business card deep into his pocket, collected his gear, and stormed home.

Weeks later, during one of his bi-monthly laundry runs, Cruise came across the crumpled business card he'd jammed into his pants pocket months ago. A pay-phone call later, Cruise was on the next bus headed for Toronto, ready to finally end Romona, Roxy, and most of all...SCOTT PILGRIM.
